Each time we write content with unknown link, we need to show pictures, create links to other articles, etc. To do this, we had to write things like this to display an image:
Look at this photo: !5_pv!
This is not too hard, except that most of the time, you just do not know what the id of your image is (the number 5 in the example above). Until know, you had to do a search in the editor, read the id, close the search results and come back to your text. Now you can simply type some clue words for the image and it will be replaced by the actual id when the redaction is saved. The example above becomes (notice the ’:’ before the word ‘zen’) :
Look at this photo: !:zen.pv!
If the first element matching ‘zen’ is not the one you are looking for, add ’+’ to move to the next :
Look at this photo: !:zen+.pv!
You can add as many ’+’ signs as you need or restrict search by adding other words to the query separating them with ’-’ (notice the double ’::’ in the link definition) :
"zafu templates"::zafu-templates++
All this might look cryptic but it’s really FAST and super easy to use. I am very happy with this solution in case you didn’t feel it by reading this post !
